The digital single market

The Single Market is one of the main achievements of the European Union. It allows the removal of barriers and the simplification of rules to achieve its goal of free movement of goods, persons, services and capital.

The financial and economic crisis has hit all economies and across all sectors. The single market is an asset to boost the economy of the Member States. Le paiement bancaire par l'authentification de la voix

Selon les chiffres de l’Observatoire de la sécurité des cartes de paiement, rendu public cet été, le montant des fraudes à la carte bancaire est passé de 450,2 millions d’euros en 2012 à 469,9 millions d’euros en 2013.

Le moteur de recherche Google, voulant élargir son public, travaille sur l’élaboration de comptes Gmail pour les enfants.

The cybernitic attacks in Ukraine.

A cybernitic attack is any type of offensive manoeuver employed by individuals or organizations that targets computer information systems infrastrucures, computer networks or /and personal devices using hacking in order to steal or destroy the information located in those devices.
They are usually labelled as a cyberwarfare or cyberterrorism attacks.

New rules for apps and games that offer in-app purchases

By the end of September, Google will stop advertising apps and games that offer in-app purchases as free. This is coming at the request of the European Commission which gave a series of guidelines developers and app stores should follow.

In order to stop unwanted in-app purchases, the Commission asked that any application or game advertised as free should not mislead the consumer about their true costs. Especially games should make it clear how payments are made and not directly ask children to make purchases.
