Dealing with duplicate content coming from faceted search

If your website is using faceted search you’ve probably come across this issue : this type of research produces a huge amount of URLs, due to the combination of different parameters. And very often those pages will display the same content, with different URLs : in Google’s eyes, this is duplicate or near duplicate content which is not good for your ranking ! There are multiple ways to deal with this issue : rewriting, disallow, noindex or canonical.

The alliance of Google life science team and Sanofi against the diabetes

Sanofi, a French pharmaceutical firm entered into a partnership with Google Life Sciences several weeks ago, to expand its research into treatments for diabetes.
Sanofi already has experience in the connected health. It has designed a connectable measuring device to an Apple iPhone and smartphone applications , as Glucocompteur.

Pourquoi mes microdatas n’apparaissent pas dans les résultats de recherche ?

Si vous êtes propriétaires d’un site Internet, vous savez sans doute que les moteurs de recherche permettent d’afficher des liens enrichis vers votre site web dans leurs pages de résultats. Vous avez même peut être essayé de les intégrer, mais rien n’y fait, vos rich snippet ne sont pas affichés dans les SERPs. Voici donc quelques pistes de réflexions pour tenter de résoudre ce problème.

Google est mort ? Vive Alphabet ?

Depuis le 10 aout dernier impossible de passer à coté de cette annonce : l’entreprise américaine Google se réorganise autour d’une nouvelle entité, Alphabet.
En effet, les deux fondateurs de Google ont annoncé la mise en place d’une société mère baptisée Alphabet dont le rôle sera de centraliser et chapeauter toutes les activités de leur Groupe.

The Court ruling makes echo to European Commision wish to set up a European legislation review dealing with personal data. That is the purpose of the European court of justice settled May, 13th 2014 which has consecrated the right to be forgotten.
