Wine and Technology

The wine still has the image of a cultural product of the soil : a product made by small producers whose harvest is often done by hand, created in a small cave and sold in a small cooperative. However, this image now seems to be very residual. Indeed, technology permeates each step of the wine production process. From the vine to the glass, it offers the necessary help in improving the experience around wine.
The most impressive technological developments in recent years appears to be the online sale of wine. With a growth of nearly 30 % per year, it will represent nearly 10 % of the wine market in France in 2014. Open data et tourism

According to Wikipédia, open data is best reflected by the statement : “a piece of data is open if anyone is free to use, reuse, and redistribute it subject only, at most, to the requirement to attribute and/or share-alike.”
The open data movement really took off in the late 2000s to nowadays cover a wide range of activities: public service, education, heath and culture. The Open Data movement is defended as a civil right, which can be invoked occasionally before the administration.
In recent years, the movement of open data seized the tourism sector in order to better respond to new demands. Indeed, the consumption patterns of tourism have changed somewhat recently. The informed and connected tourist will be concerned about finding quickly and in an easy way some tourist data in his own language. (suite…)

Les français ont, depuis toujours, une réputation d’être incapable de parler anglais. Une réputation a demi démentie par les récents chiffres de l’EPI.
Pourtant des initiatives pour y remédier apparaissent de plus en plus.

E-tourisme : A la découverte du Pass’Alsace

Depuis peu, certaines villes ont fait le choix d’ouvrir une offre globale aux touristes intéressés par leurs richesses culturelles. Ces offres étalées sur 1, 2 ou 3 jours s’appuient sur des bénéfices multiples et diversifiés. Ces « pass visite » confèrent ainsi régulièrement les possibilités de visiter de nombreux sites touristiques, de bénéficier de transports gratuits et enfin d’obtenir de nombreuses réductions (restauration, shopping, excursion hors de la ville…).
L’Alsace s’inscrit dans ce programme à l’échelon de sa Région.

Présentation de l’offre
Cette campagne touristique, organisée par L’Agence de Développement Touristique du Bas-Rhin (ADT 67), a pour objectif de faire bénéficier d’une offre aux touristes, leur permettant de visiter les principaux sites touristiques alsaciens à moindre coût.
Pour 40 euros, un adulte et un enfant (-12 ans) pourront ainsi visiter pendant 3 jours les principaux et nombreux sites alsaciens. Ces 3 jours pouvant être étalés sur une semaine entière afin de faciliter l’organisation des familles.
Cette année, l’offre sera disponible du 25 avril au 2 Novembre 2014. (suite…)
