Big Data & Data Mining, a revolution in strategic analysis

Big Data has been one of the most important digital phenomenon since the beginning of the 21th century. In 2014, it achieved a turnover of 10 billion dollars. On the other hand, we can now count Internet data in zettabyte.
These two facts show us, why in our economy Big Data is such an important concept. We can underline the impact of social networks too. Indeed, they collect billions of personal data every day. So, it was these networks that have actively helped the digitalisation of our society.

Google est mort ? Vive Alphabet ?

Depuis le 10 aout dernier impossible de passer à coté de cette annonce : l’entreprise américaine Google se réorganise autour d’une nouvelle entité, Alphabet.
En effet, les deux fondateurs de Google ont annoncé la mise en place d’une société mère baptisée Alphabet dont le rôle sera de centraliser et chapeauter toutes les activités de leur Groupe.

The Right to be Forgotten

That definitely resume an ex porn actress ordeal became a legal assistant. A porn website still allowed video under her real name or patronym. A French court in 2012, February 15th have condemned this website to delete the illegal content and Google to unindex te name of the claimant connected with porn website. The Court ruling makes echo to European Commision wish to set up a European legislation review dealing with personal data. That is the purpose of the European court of justice settled May, 13th 2014 which has consecrated the right to be forgotten.

French robotics

When people talk about robots they generally think about science-fiction movies like “Irobot” or “Terminator”. Eventhough we think that robots are only part of science-fiction culture but they are also real.

Currently Japan owns about half of the robots in the world and create technological advancements on assistive technologies.

A mid-size company from France has done the remarkable masterstroke of selling robots to Japanese. This firm is called  Aldebaran Robotics.
