Dès 2015, la marque Swatch devrait ainsi mettre à jour sa gamme de montres tactiles Swatch Touch, en y intégrant un traqueur d’activité. Dans un entretien recueilli par Reuters au début de l’année 2014, le groupe Swatch* avait émis quelques réserves quant aux montres intelligentes qui inondent aujourd’hui le marché des objets connectés. This Friday 1st of august, Microsoft has attacked the group Samsung before a New York court for non-compliance of its commitments concerning a contract.
In recent years, we found more and more war patents around ICT giants. This situation explains that for business, there are no negotiations. Actually, the actors of the technology sector do care to make complaint to each others before the big community courts. We can mentionned for example, the case of Samsung against the American informatics group, Apple.
Now, there is an American group that attacks the South Korean group by accusing them of not respecting their commitments about using their owner patents in 2011.
According to Microsoft, it is a complaint concerning the non-compliance at time and at hour for a payment that was due last autumn. However, Microsoft demands penalties to Samsung for it late payment. (suite…)

La French Tech est un appel à labélisation destiné aux métropoles françaises voulant fédérer les acteurs locaux de l’écosystème numérique. Il s’agit de dynamiser ces métropoles tout en assurant leur promotion à l’échelle internationale.
L’objectif est clair : favoriser l’émergence des start-up de niveau mondial capables d’apporter une dynamique en matière de croissance et d’emploi. Fleur Pellerin l’annonçait d’ailleurs clairement : « L’initiative French Tech c’est d’abord une ambition: construire un grand mouvement de mobilisation collective pour la croissance et le rayonnement des startups numériques françaises. The open data movement really took off in the late 2000s to nowadays cover a wide range of activities: public service, education, heath and culture. The Open Data movement is defended as a civil right, which can be invoked occasionally before the administration.
In recent years, the movement of open data seized the tourism sector in order to better respond to new demands. Indeed, the consumption patterns of tourism have changed somewhat recently. Privacy and protection of personal data is a relatively new field for the legislative framework in Romania. Being a member of the European Union since January 1st, 2007, Romania implemented the EU Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC into the national legislation in November 2001 through Law no 677/2001 on the protection of individuals with regards to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data (« The Data Protection Law« ). The data protection law applies to the processing of personal data performed, totally or partially, through automatic means, as well as to the processing through means other than automatic. Its provisions also address crucial factors such as legitimate processing, data quality, definitions of the fundamental terms (e.g. operator, data subject, processing etc.), the rights of the data subjects and the obligations of the operators of personal data, and it designates the Romanian Supervisory Authority on data protection.
In addition to providing guarantees in relation to the collection and processing of personal data, it outlaws the processing of « sensitive » data on a person’s race, politics, health, religion, sexual life, criminal record, etc., in the absence of proper legal safeguards. (suite…)
