L’imprimante 3D ou comment imprimer des objets chez soi

Jusqu’alors réservée aux industriels, l’imprimante 3D se démocratise et il est désormais possible de créer des objets à partir de chez soi.

Cette technique permet de créer un objet à partir d’un fichier CAO – conception assistée par ordinateur – en le découpant tranche par tranche puis en solidifiant la matière choisie pour l’objet. Il faut donc commencer par créer un objet sur un logiciel puis l’imprimante additionne la matière couche par couche jusqu’à l’obtention de l’objet désiré en 3D.

In this technological era, the internet, among other softwares and gadgets, has changed the way we communicate, the way we go about daily activities and mostly the way we work. Being «connected» has become an essential need for almost every branch or sector of activity. This is all the more true for the medical field.
The health care sector being a hard science depends heavily on research and development. As a result, medicine has evolved more and more towards technologically assisted procedures and the use of technological medical devices.
