Nowadays, having a video CV is becoming a must to stand out from the recruiters and demonstrate your skills and personality at best.

Recruitment by video CV, also known as a video resume, is a way for job applicants to showcase their qualifications and skills through a video submission rather than a traditional written resume. This method allows applicants to demonstrate their communication abilities, personality, and enthusiasm for the job in a more engaging and personal way. Some companies may use video interview software to conduct virtual interviews as a part of the recruitment process. In fact, a video CV is a complement to the standard resume.

What are the advantages of using a video CV?

  • Demonstrating enthusiasm: A video CV can demonstrate a candidate’s enthusiasm for the job and the company, which may be important to potential employers.
  • Providing a dynamic representation of qualifications: A video CV can provide a more dynamic representation of a candidate’s qualifications and experience, which can help to bring a candidate’s CV to life and make it more engaging to potential employers.
  • Saving time for the recruiters: Recruiters can quickly assess the candidate’s qualifications and suitability for the role by watching a video, rather than reading through a long CV.
  • Allowing for self-promotion: A video CV allows a candidate to promote themselves and their qualifications in a more direct and personal way, which can be beneficial in a competitive job market.

Making the process more interactive: Video CV makes the recruitment process more interactive and less formal, allowing recruiters to see the candidate’s body language, tone of voice and overall presentation skills
