The increase of the QR-codes

The new form of getting information, are the QR-codes. QR means quick response. What can be the use of a QR-code?
The QR-code is a two-dimensional (2D) bar code and was for the first time designed in Japan, for the automotive industry. The huge advantage of this type of bar code is that you can get the information faster then before. For example, in 2006, the world champion needed 42 seconds to tip an SMS with 160 signs. An URL address can contain 250 signs. So the world champion will need more than a minute to tip the URL-adress into the browser. So when you scan the QR-code, a program analyses it and decodes the information faster than every human being.

What kind of information can the QR-code contain?
Several informations can be transformed into a QR-code: a telephone number, an SMS, a link, a text or a Vcard with name, telephone number and e-mail address.

La publicité personnalisée à la télévision

Avec l’avancement des technologies, de nouveaux moyens pour le marketing vont être développés.
La publicité personnalisée est une nouvelle forme de marketing à la télévision, développée par le prestataire de service Gracenote. Pour le moment, le mode de fonctionnement de cette nouvelle méthode n’est pas encore clair. Gracenote va préciser les détails  lors du salon « Consummer Electronics Show CES » en janvier 2013 à Las Vegas.
Cette publicité personnalisée existe déjà sur le web. Google, par exemple, gagne plus  de 100 millions de dollars par jour et Amazon tire aussi son profit de cette méthode.
A partir de 2013, Gracenote veut lancer son programme qui rend cette forme de publicité possible. Comment veut-il réaliser cette idée ?

Une nouvelle forme de guerre via les nouvelles technologies de l’information

Dans les guerres modernes, les réseaux sociaux jouent un rôle de en plus en plus important.
Depuis les derniers mouvements de guerre au Proche-Orient, avec le conflit entre Israel et le Hamas, le web est en plein essor. Après les dernières interventions à Gaza, les deux ennemis font de la propagande via Twitter.
L’armée israélienne a mis par exemple sur Twitter une vidéo d’une attaque avec le commentaire suivant : «  We recommend that no Hamas operatives, whether low level or senior leader, show their faces above ground in the days ahead ». La réponse du Hamas était: “Our blessed hands will reach your leaders and soldiers wherever they are. (You opened hell gates yourself) ».

ISO 27001

Do you know what ISO 27001 is talking about? It is the international norm for the information security management system.

 
Nowadays, it is very important for a firm to get an ISO certification. ISO 27001 is an ISO certification, which can be very important for a firm operating in the IT sector, for example a firm, which operates in the cloud sector.
The main point of this norm is the implementation of the information security management system (ISMS).  So, the IT-firm wants to install the standards for the protection of the information in case of breach of the availability, integrity or confidentiality of the information. This implementation guarantees the protection of the information for the clients and the providers.

Twitter a bloqué les tweets d’une organisation néo-nazie

Pour la première fois dans l’histoire de Twitter, l’entreprise a supprimé des tweets.

Pour Twitter, la liberté d’expression sur le net n’a pas le droit de violer les lois nationales. C’est pour cette raison que début octobre, l’entreprise américaine a bloqué le compte d’une organisation allemande néo-nazie, mais seulement pour les clics des utilisateurs allemands. Dans les autres pays, le blog restera accessible. Voilà le début de la nouvelle stratégie de Twitter !
