World Congress on Information Technology 2019 brings together technology leaders
Nowadays, when the world sometimes seems upside down with its fast-growing ecosystem and ground-breaking innovations, we need to learn more about the changes that may have an impact on our future. One way to do so is to follow the ongoing events of the Information and communications technology (ICT) world.
The World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT) is one of the most famous and largest ICT events in the world. It gathers technology leaders, high-level officials, heads of international organizations, universities, etc. Among the previous speakers were Bill Clinton, Vint Cerf, Bill Gates, Ginni Rometty, Larry Ellison and many more.
The 23rd congress was held in Yerevan, Armenia. This year, WCIT has concentrated on the Power of Decentralization: Promise and Peril. It included panels on topics ranging from virtual reality, smart cities, E-commerce, E-health, to digital inclusion and equality, startups and incubators, and more.
