The story
On 28th of July, Heather Antos decided to post a picture of her and her colleagues while they were drinking their milkshake.
Surprisingly, when she woke up, she found a lot of tweets insulting them.
You must ask you why ? The reason is simple. Indeed, they are women who work in Comics.

« Fake geek girls »
They were called “fake geek girls“.
Among some rude tweets, we can quote one of them: “Remember when comics were about superheroes and not a safe space for feminists to create female characters who constant reassure each other?”.
Heather Antos did not discourage herself and answered some tweets as: “Woke up today to a slew of more garbage tweets and DMs. For being a woman. In comics. Who posted a selfie of her friends getting milkshakes”.
The others
Kathryn Hudson who is an illustrator and a comic artist decided to repost the photo in question with a new picture which is actually the same girls while they are drinking their milkshake but … She drew them like heroines ! Moreover, she added the hashtag #MakeMineMilkshake.

Others who work or not in Comics decided to post a photo while they are drinking their milkshake.
